In today's increasing environmental friendly view of world, Microsoft Research has come up with Joulemeter.
Joulemeter is software to estimate the power consumption of your computer. It tracks computer resources, such as CPU utilization and screen brightness, and estimates power usage.
Project details are available at http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/projects/joulemeter/default.aspx.
Isn't is pretty interesting. Please use the tool and post your computer carbon footprints.
